Creating Pathways From Learning to Livelihood
KONE India, with Bharath School of Vertical Transportation and MaFoi Foundation, launched a training program for 150 ITI and Diploma students. The six-month initiative combines technical learning, safety practices, and hands-on exposure to prepare youth for sustainable careers in the vertical transportation sector.
Vertical Transportation Simulator Lab – Chitkara University
In partnership with Chitkara University, KONE has helped set up a cutting-edge lab that provides students with experiential training in elevators, escalators, and vertical mobility systems. This initiative enables the next generation of engineers to lead the evolution of smart, sustainable urban transport.
Community College Training Program – 300 Students Trained
Through our Community College initiative, students are trained in essential skills such as e-publishing, accounting software, and tailoring. This program focuses on real-world applicability and prepares learners for immediate employment or entrepreneurial ventures, thus fostering local economic growth.
